C18 building with good mid C18 red brick front, dated 1755 on rainwater
head. 2 storeys, attics and cellars, the roofs tiled and hipped. The
centre front breaks forward slightly with a pediment and has an upper
storey Venetian window with Ionic columns; central pediment head
doorcase with attached Ionic columns; parapet, 3-window range with 2 storeyed
bay window either side of central front. Large red brick modern wings in
C18 style on east and west built in 1910. The garden front was
added in.1780, a fine 5-windowed bay flanked by Venetian windows on
1st floor. Interior contemporary features.
