House, C18 or earlier with later additions and alterations. Timber framed with
set back brick extension to left, weatherboard clad central block and brick
faced with stucco to right. 2 storey and attic. Grey slate gambrel roof.
1:1:3 window range with 3 flat head dormers to attics. Small paned casements
to left, early C19 small paned vertical sliding sashes to weatherboarded range.
First floor right with 3 early Cl9 small paned casements, above which are
moulded stucco panels, each with swags and patera, interspersed with ornate
iron tie bosses. Moulded parapet with lion masks. Ground floor with two Gothic
paned French doors and a small paned vertical sliding sash window to right. This
range with a full width, cast iron tent porch with central round head, supported
by ornate trellis supports with frieze and panelling. The left range with
matching porch but without central head. 2 painted brick chimney stacks.
