House. Circa 1600 with C19 and C20 extensions. Timber frame with
diagonal braces, whitewashed brick infill, and whitewashed rubble stone
plinth. Right gable wall rebuilt in whitewashed brick with 2 buttresses.
Thatched front pitch, old tile roofs to remainder, the front range
hipped to left and half-hipped to right. Central chimney of thin
brick with pilaster. 1½ storeys, 2 bays with later half-bay to left.
Ground floor has old leaded cross casement to left. Paired leaded casements
in thatch. Half-bay has C20 gabled porch with barred and glazed
door. Lean-to to left. Rear has projecting C19 wing and verandah over
bow window. Interior: stop-chamfered spine beams, tie beam to right
of chimney arched over door, wind-braces.
