C17. Lime-washed stone rubble, old slate roof, round chimney, 2 storeys.
North front to lane has a large round staircase wing with a small 2-light
window. A 3-light window on each floor to left of stair window, and a
tiny light under the eaves to the right. A stone and slate rubble stable
and shippon extend under the same roof to the right down to the lake shore
(the house was once a ferryman's dwelling), and has an old wooden loft
door, and a round-arched belfry on gable end. Low squat chimney in centre
of roof. South side has 4 windows on ground floor and 3 above, and continuous
slate stringcourse over gound floor. All windows have wood mullions and
3, 4 or 5 lights.
