Small house formerly an inn. C17 refronted, raised and extended C18.
Rubble flint with brick bands forming panels. Old tile roof, central
chimney, dentil brick eaves. Two storeys, three bays with fourth bay
on right added recently in matching materials and windows. Original
doorway opposite stack, now with 2-light casement window. Present
door to left with modern lean-to tiled canopy. Three ground floor
casements, all openings with segmental brick arches. Three Yorkshire
sashes to first floor. Late C18 rear extension flint and brick, old
tile roof paralled to main roof. Interior: large stack with inglenook
to central room, chamfered spine beams, timber frame in rear wall with
curved braces. Evidence of eaves being raised up in C18.
