Late C18. 3 storey brick house with plaster front, shallow pitched slate roof and
modillion eaves cornice. 2 windows to 1st and 2nd floor, glazing bar sashes in
plain wooden cases almost flush-framed. Ground floor has 1 large and 1 small bay
shop window under joint fascia with bead and reel moulding in cornice. Doorcase
with lintel marked '50' flanked by pilasters between the shop fronts.

Nos 36 to 58 (even) High street form a group [Nos 54 and 56 are of local interest]
