Cl7 or possibly earlier origin, timber framed, with C19 and recent alterations.
Appears to have been L plan originally. The angle towards the road being filled
in early to mid C19 with slate roof. 2 storeys facing road, 1 storey and attic
to west, stuccoed and rendered. The part with steep pitch gable end roof was
until recently thatched, but has now been tiled. 2 windows facing road, flush
framed sashes, small panes to those beneath gable - 3 light casement ground floor
left. The west side has 3 modern dormers and 2 glazing bar Cl9 sashes on ground
floor. Modern porch. Interior has dog leg stair by door and retains rough hewn
and moulded beams. Part of roof structure may be exposed. Part of old rural
"Far Bletchley".
Nos 139 to 143 (odd) form a group.
