MILL ROAD 1. 5135 WATER EATON Mill House. Mill. SP 8832 7/50 II 2. Circa 1830-50 mill house. 2 storeys red brick. Low gable end slate roof, flat eaves. Long front. 3 irregularly spaced windows two 2 light casements and glazing bar sash windows to west end. Plain door, modern wood porch. The house is linked to mill proper by single storey range with later openings. 2 storey mill block with half hipped slate roof, the ends of rafters exposed forming overhanging eaves. The sluice arch running under building has been partially blocked but the machinery appears to be otherwise intact with undershot wheel. 2 light casement windows and hatches to upper floor.
