Library and teaching rooms. 1956-68. Casson, Conder and
Partners. Portland stone cladding, concrete frame; flat roof.
Two storeys, "U" shaped, raised on pilotis. Floor slab
chamfered and sculpted with round-cornered hollows. Long,
narrow horizontal strip window below cornice band. Variety of
fenestration including some long windows and some small single
storey windows, in irregular arrangement. Integral part of
Sidgwick Avenue layout, planned 1952.
