Central block, 1 storey with attics; gabled crosswings, 2 storeys; timber-
framed and plastered, part refaced with brick; tile roof; south wing extends
at back; 2 later bays on front. Modernised. Much of the original internal
timbering survives, but has been concealed. (RCHM 336).
Nos 55 forms a group with Nos 18 to 30 (even).
