13/147 The Post Office

GV II

House, mid C17. Painted local brick, modern plain tile roof
with large square ridge stack. Two storeys, two unit plan with
original lobby entry blocked. Dentil brick eaves cornice. Two
first floor twelve-paned hung sash windows in flush wooden
frames, and two similar but larger ground floor windows. Brick
plinth. Main entrance in modern shop to east. Interior has two
inglenook hearths and first floor hearth over parlour. Exposed
floor frames, with chamfered axial beams.
