Inn; original C17 three unit plan, partly rebuilt with
cross-wing to street in early C19. Painted brick and clunch;
gabled and hipped roofs with modern interlocking tiles. Brick
stack to left hand and rear stack. Two storeys, rear wing one
storey and attic. Dentil brick eaves cornice, not continuous in
street facade. One first floor casement window, and one
horizontal sliding sash window. Two ground floor sixteen-paned
hung sash windows flank central sixteen-paned horizontal sliding
sash window. Main entrance in rear wing. Interior altered.
