Mid C18 house. Local brown brick with hipped slate roofs and
stack to west. Three storeys and basement; five 'bays'.
Parapet with stone copings. Five second floor six-paned hung
sash windows in cambered, gauged, red brick arches and stone
cills. Five similar, twelve-paned first floor and ground floor
windows. Brick band at first floor. Broken triangular
pedimented wooden doorcase with fluted Doric columns. Six
panelled door with round-headed fanlight. Railings to basement
forecourt. Interior has mid to late C18 doors and doorcases,
panelled window shutters, and two original chimney pieces. Late
C18.
