Late C18 cottage with C19 extension at east end and C20 alterations. Coursed
stone rubble. Slate roof (partly asbestos slate) with gabled ends. Two storeys.
Original part has heightened eaves with rendered first floor. Five window range.
C19 sashes and casements. Modern bowed bay window to left ground floor. The
original house has central blocked doorway with tablet above inscribed "B.H.C.1785"
and "R J C 1937". Included for group value.
