Two cottages now one house. C17 reconstruction of earlier building with
early C19 additions and alterations. Timber-framed and plastered with some
old pargetting, C19 gault brick and painted brick. Thatched roof with
grouped shafts to ridge stack at right hand. One storey and attic and two
storeys with cellar in extension. Original street entrances blocked, three
ground floor and one first floor windows, with glazing bars. Interior:
Exposed timber-frame with two cusped ogee arched door heads, cambered
bressumer to C17 red brick fireplace; first floor fireplace with mounded
mantel shelf plastered brick. Rear wing early C19 staircase and original
details.
