House, formerly an inn. Two buildings, early and late C17 with later
alterations. Timber-framed and plastered, plain tiled roof and red brick end
stacks, thatched roof to left hand. Two storeys, two roof levels. Main
entrance to right hand with glazed door in sunk panelled doorcase with console
brackets supporting cornice replacing original canopy. Two ground floor
casement windows and canted bay window to left hand and one three-light hung
sash window to right hand; three first floor horizontal sliding sash windows.
The house was formerly the Black Bull public house.
