Late C16 farmhouse. Continuous jetty of three-unit plan with rear stair turret and
later extensions. Timber-frame partly exposed and rendered. Old plain tile roofs,
shaped ridge stack of red brick with three truncated octagonal shafts. Six-panelled
door in line with stack, one hung sash window to left of door, two canted bays to right
hand. Symmetrical first-floor range of three, modern, casement windows. One original
three-light window with leaded quarries to left of centre at first-floor and two similar
windows of two and three lights at ground-floor. Two carved scroll brackets to jetty.
Bracket to dragon beam with geometric carved decoration. Area of original pargetting in
south gable to right hand of first-floor sealed oriel window with ovolo mullion bars.
Ovolo moulding to soffit of garret jetty bressumer.
Interior: Ovolo moulded ceiling beams, and ceiling beam with carved geometric design in
central room. Closed-string staircase of two flights with barley-sugar twist balusters.
