Mid C19. 3 storeys, 3 windows, slated hipped roof with projecting
eaves. Cement front. Plain cill bands at 1st and 2nd floors.
Square-headed, recessed sash windows with margin lights. Ground
floor altered. Former home of the Goodman family (local mill owners),
and incorporated No. 29, the cinema being the former ballroom.

No. 1, 7 to 13 (odd), No. 17 and Nos. 21 to 39 (odd) form a group
with the shop adjoining No. 1.
