C15 origins, altered and extended in C17.
Rendered. Double Roman tiled roof. Brick diagonal chimney on rubble stacks. One
storey and attics in 5 steep gables. Five windows, all modern casements. Off-centre
to right - plank studded door behind later lean-to porch.
Interior:
Plan unclear but at least of 2 distinct phases.
To left (west) - formerly a mediaeval open hall house of 2 windows. Roof has one
smoke-blackened truss and remains of windbracing. Below ovolo-moulded beams with
run-out stops and elaborately moulded overmantel.
To right (3 windows: east), mid-C17 remodelling mostly modernised. Stop chamfered
beams. Interior of main door has strap hinges with open scroll ends.
