Farmhouse. C17 with north block c,1800, with later alterations. Rubble,
rendered, stone dressings, slate roof, front of north block has double Roman
tiles, brick gable stacks. L-plan. North block 2 storeys and 3 windows, all
sashes in plain reveals, 1st floor right blocked, central 6-panelled door with
triangular hood on brackets, blocked cellar door with timber lintel; south
block of 2½ storeys and 2 windows, has ground floor C20 casement, 2-light C19
casement and plank door, 1st floor has 3-light and 2-light casements, 2 blocked
attic windows. South side has 2 blocked attic windows, east side has irregular
windows including at 1st floor 2-light and 3-light Cl7 casements in flat timber
frames with leaded lights and decorative catches, 2-light casement at attic and
2 blocked windows in north gable end; north side has 4 windows, all 16-pane
sashes in plain reveals, 6-panelled door in 2nd bay from right has triangular
hood, more elaborate brackets and fanlight. Interior: chamfered and stopped
beams in south block, winder stair behind plank door, north block has stair with
turned newels and square balusters, shutters to windows, 6-panelled doors.
