c.1830s symmetrical pair of stuccoed villa houses. Grey Welsh slate roof to
No 78; roof of No 80 renewed in concrete tiles. Main roofs hipped; pediment
gables to front. 3-sided bays to front. 3-sided bays to front dining rooms.
Moulded stucco architraves to windows, some with round-headed arches and stucco
keystones. Principal windows have double hung Georgian type recessed sashes;
some glazing bars removed. Rectangular stuccoed chimneys. Wide entrance doors
with 2 vertical panels. The character of No 78 is intact; No 80 altered at
rear with modern windows in altered openings. Interior of No 78 has open
string staircase with mahogany handrail and painted square balusters; folding
panelled internal shutters to hall and front windows; simple moulded plaster
cornices to hall, dining room and breakfast room; 4 panel internal doors; cel-
lar with brick floor. Interior of No 80 modernised.
