II

House: early C18 origins but extended and remodelled c1830. English
garden wall bond, Welsh slate roof, 2 gable brick chimneys. 2-storey,
4-bay front. Sawtooth brick cornice. 16-pane sashes below, with
cambered wedged stone heads and stone sills. Similar 12-pane sashes
above. 2nd bay has wooden doorcase with flat hood on simple consoles.
Rectangular fanlight has glazed lunette with solid spandrels.
6-panelled door with large brass knocker. Left side shows a brick
band at 1st floor of original house.
