Not to be confused with The Old Livery, opposite. Detached house. Late
C18 or early C19. Flemish bond brickwork, plain tile roof. An L-plan house
with symmetrical facade towards road; the inner angle of the L filled with
later building to form rectangular block. Two storeys, 3-window front, two-
storey canted bays with 12 : 16 : 12-pane sashes, flat roofs, flanking a
12-pane sash over good fielded 6-panel door under fanlight, and with wood
pilasters and pediment. Return, left, has long wing, possibly extended later
by 2 bays; two 12-pane sashes, canted bay as front, and further 12-pane sash.
Large eaves stack in this section, further ridge stack. Infil wing, right,
slightly lower, has small-pane 2 or 3-light casements, C20 porch extension,
gable stack. Interior not inspected.
