Balustrading in gardens of Heale House (q.v.). c1900. Stone.
Vertically symmetrical balusters carrying handrail of heavy
section. Section of balustrading contains river to east of the
house, with paired flight of steps to landing stage, and further
section to south-west of south front of house with Z-return to meet
stables (q.v.) and length across west front of house. Important to
the setting of house.
