Cottage orné. Early C19. Painted Flemish bond brick, half-hipped
thatched roof, brick stacks in rear valley. Single-storey and
attic, 2-bay, entrance at right angles to road on left return. C20
door with 6 fielded panels to right, half-glazed door to left,
first floor has semi-circular headed leaded casement with Y glazing
bars. Front facing road has central 12-pane sash with fanlight,
recessed semi-circular headed niche either side. Right return has
two semi-circular headed leaded casements with Y glazing bars to
ground floor and one to first to left. Rear has lean-to with slate
roof and casements, two semi-circular headed leaded casements to
first floor. Interior not accessible at time of survey (October
1986).
