  • St Anne: contract relates to building of church between Katherine Burgh & her son, 1412; south chapel is 1505 but reused windows; three stage c15 tower with angle buttresses

  • St Anne: east window is of five cinquefoiled lights with cusped tracery beneath a two-centred arch

  • St Anne: nave arcades possibly from earlier church (pre-date c15) with one chamfer & one hollow chamfer; clerestory is modern 1872

  • St Anne: late c14 effigy of knight; Sir Walter Urswick

  • St Anne: William Burgh, father & son, d.1442 & 1465 respectively; York workshops, sallets behind heads
