GV II

House. Late C18 with earier origins. Rendered sandstone, stone slate
roof. Central-hallway-entry plan with extension, now garage, to right. 2
storeys, 3 bays. Glazed door. Sashes with glazing bars in milled stone
surrounds throughout, that to centre of first floor being blind. Tall
double door to garage. Lead rainwater heads. Roof line drops over garage.
Gable coping, shaped kneelers, end and ridge stacks. To rear: moulded
mullion window and re-used keyed arches in staircase window frame suggest
that the house is a remodelling of an earlier structure. Interior: large
keyed-arched fireplace to sitting room. 6-fielded-panel doors to main room.
H hinges to passage cupboard door. Late C18 basket grate and bolection
frieze to master bedroom.
