Formerly one house, now 2 cottages. Dated 1707 with C19 and C20 alterations.
Strap-pointed rubble to Nook Cottage, slobbered rubble to Bronte Cottage, stone
dressings, stone slate roof. Former lobby entry plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Left
of centre entrance has chamfered surround and decorated lintel dated and inscribed:

I E c1980 door. Right-hand entrance has plain surround, c1960 door. Left-hand
ground floor 3-light double chamfered mullioned window and central former fire
window with chamfered surround; dripmould which is broken over entrance; right-hand
double-chamfered 2-light mullioned window. On upper floor are 3 late-C19 windows
with plain surrounds; all have C20 casements except upper right-hand which has
sashes with glazing bars. Left-hand gable and right of centre ridge stack.
