House and former stables, now house. Dated 1687, heightened and refronted in late
C19. Coursed rubble, stone dressings, slate roof. 2 storeys 3 bays. Central
entrance has moulded surround. Reset dated decorated lintel with initials M S --

5 panel door, rectangular fanlight. 2 ground floor and 3 upper floor windows have
chamfered surrounds and 8 pane sashes. Gable end stack. Former stables are lower
than house, 2 storeys 2 bays. Left-hand entrance has C17 chamfered surround and
chamfered basket-arched head; C20 door. Former 2 light chamfered windows on ground
floor to right, mullion now gone. Former 3 light double chamfered mullioned window
on upper floor, left-hand light now blocked and right-hand mullion now gone. Both
windows have slate dripstones and C20 casements. Right-hand bay is rubble
addition. Ground floor entrance and projecting flight of 8 steps to right which
turn left and continue for 2 steps into upper floor entrance.
