Early C19. Brown brick. Pitched pantile roofs: coped gables. At south end two
2-storey stable buildings flank a courtyard of which the north and south sided
are closed, respectively, by an open cart-shed with cylindrical brick piers, and
a low wall, with contemporary lead pump and monolithic ashlar basin. The east
stable has ventilation slits on first floor, grouped together under 2-centred relieving
arches: east elevation also has relieving arches on ground floor, and brick modillion
eaves cornice. Both stables are continued north to form a second courtyard on
north side of cart-shed. Barn north of east stable has ventilation holes in lozenge
patterns.
