House at end of row, with shop, returns to New Street. Mid C19. Painted brickwork, slate roof. The building has a recessed quadrant corner. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and basement, 1 window, all sashes; a 16-pane in reveals above a replacement 8:12:8-pane oriel with scalloped lead capping. Ground floor has the original wide square C19 shop front in pilasters, with moulded brackets, above paired 2-light casements to the basement. The quadrant has a 16-pane above a blank light, and a pair of C19 part-glazed doors, on one step, across the corner. A small plinth, a sill band at second floor, and a coped parapet. Return front has 3 windows, with 2 blank lights and one 16-pane sash at first and second floors. At ground floor is a shop front similar to that on the front, but with a slight bowed fascia, and a 16-pane sash; centred is a 6-panel fielded door with radial fanlight on 1 step. The sill band continues from the front. Rear gable is rendered, with a small stair light. A brick stack to the party wall. INTERIOR: not inspected. (RCHME: Dorset, South-East: London: 1970-: 350).
