Farmhouse. Dated 1691 on door lintel. Coursed sandstone rubble,
C20 cement-tile roof, C20 brick stacks. 3 storeys. 3-room plan
with partial outshut to rear left. Large quoins. Double-chamfered
surrounds to wood casements, stone mullions removed. Part-glazed door
to left of centre in chamfered, quoined surround with large lintel;
chamfered hoodmould embraces flanking 3-light windows. To right
another 2-light window with dripstone. 1st-floor windows as ground
floor, dripstones; blocked single-light window to left with another
blocked light over. Three small windows to 2nd floor with 4-pane
casements. Shaped kneelers, chamfered gable copings. End stacks, ridge
stack above door. Rear: some double-chamfered single-light windows to
outshut, quoined surround to blocked doorway. Right return: projecting
stack with offsets to front and side faces; truncated beneath gable apex.
Farmbuildings attached to front and left of house not of special interest.
