Barn. Probably C17. Cruck-framed, coursed squared gritstone, stone
slate roof. Single storey, 3 bays. Central cart entrance in quoined
surround with wood lintel, no doors. Square opening to left. Two
cowhouse doors to right both with stop-chamfered quoined surrounds.
Interior: stone paved threshing floor. 3 cruck pairs spring from near
ground or are raised several feet. Low wall-tie beams. Some windbraces
to single purlins, collars beneath diagonal-set ridge. principal rafter
truss spans cowhouse end to right.
