Probably a late C17 or early C18 farmhouse altered and extended as cottages in the
latter part of the C18. Two storeys, sandstone "brick", stone slate roofs. The
windows of Nos 1 and 3 renewed. No 5 is the earliest and last altered part forming
a gabled break with flush quoins. Saddlestone and shaped kneelers to gable which
contains a blind vertical bull's eye. Two light, originally 4 light, chamfered
mullion window in splayed reveal on first floor; 3 light, originally 5 light, similar
window on ground floor. Squared jamb doorways.
