Circa 1800-30 mill workers' terrace. Two and three-storeys with rear cottage wings. Fairly large sandstone "bricks". Stone slate roofs, corniced chimneys. Two light square mullion framed windows. Plain framed doorways. No 25 is a three-storey gabled front flanked by two-storey front elevations with archways to rear cottage rows.
