L-plan block of cottages of C17 origin, probably a farmhouse subdivided into
cottages circa 1800. Two-storeys, rendered sandstone. Stone slate roofs with
corniced chimneys. Three and 4 light chamfered mullion windows with drip
moulds. Circa 1800. Four light square mullion windows to first floor of
No 71 and to No 77. Squared jamb, doorways with 4 Panel doors. No 71 retains
exposed chamfered ceiling beams. Interior otherwise modernised.
