Mid C19. Hammer-dressed stone. Ashlar dressings. Hipped slate roof. Three storeys. Basement. Moulded eaves cornice. Blocking course. Continuous sill bands and imposts. Rusticated quoins. Ground floor windows are round-arched with rusticated voussoirs, jambs and keystones: south four are Venetian, ovearched, with Tuscan piers and entablatures: north six are single-light, with hollow chamfers and elongated keystones. Upper floor windows have moulded voussoirs and keystones; round-arched on first floor, segment-headed on second floor, with keystones above each of which are gadrooned brackets to eaves cornice: four ranges to southern part, all paired, and six ranges to northern part.
