Terrace of weaver's houses. Early to mid C19. Hammer dressed stone.
Stone slate roof. 3 storeys plus basement to No. 63 due to sloping
ground. Nos. 53, 55 and 57 are the same each having one 3-light
window and entrance to ground floor and two 2-light windows to 1st
and 2nd floors. Nos. 59 & 61 are handed, each with entrance and
3-light window to ground floor, are 3-light window to 1st floor (plus
central 3-light window), and two 2-light windows to 2nd floor (mullions
removed from No. 59). No. 63 (possibly formerly 2 dwellings), has central
door with 3-light window to left and altered window to right. To 1st
and 2nd floors are four 2-light windows. Entrance and single light to
basement.
