ST 65 NE CAMERTON C.P. CAMERTON HILL (west side)

2/3 Abbey Farmhouse

G.V. II

Farmhouse. Early/mid C17, refaced early C18, extended early C19. Coursed
rubble, some pebble-dashed, freestone dressings, slate and double-roman tile
roofs. Main block has 2 storeys, 3 windows, all 2-light edge-moulded mullions
and architrave with inserted 2-pane sashes except bottom left which has 3 lights,
central, half-glazed 4-panel door under flat hood on moulded brackets.
Extension to left has a further 2 storeys, 2 windows, 2-light above, 3-light
below, chamfered mullions and multi-pane cast iron casements. Parallel rear
range has 2 storeys, 3 windows, first floor has 2-pane sashes, below are
variously altered casements, central, gabled porch with bargeboards and finial.
Interior not inspected.
