G.V. II
Small farmhouse, now cottage. Late C16 refaced C18. Painted brick, old
tile gabled roof. Rectangular plan with small extension at rear. 2
storeys. 2 chimneys at rear. Entrance front:- plinth, 4 bays, centre
2 at first floor are blocked and one left of centre on ground floor. 3-
light C18 casements, those on ground floor with segmental heads; old
panelled 2-leaf entrance door in third bay from left under a flat hood
on wooden posts and lattice sides. Late C18 lean-to extension on right.
Old fire insurance plaque on first floor wall, left of centre. Interior:-
Inglenook fireplace, and part of a timber frame with wattle and daub on
the old gable beneath the extension roof.
