Farmhouse. C17, altered and extended C18 and C19. Mostly brick with
vertical strips of vitreous brick between bays and between outer bays
and quoins; part timber framed with brick infill. Old tile gabled roof.
L-plan with outshut at rear in angle. 2 storeys and attics. Flanking
chimneys and one on rear gable. Plinth, first floor string and coped
gable ends, all on front part. Entrance front:- 5 bays. 4-light wooden
mullioned and transomed windows, 6-panelled central door with architrave
surround and flat moulded hood on cut scroll brackets with panel between
over door. Date panel inscribed B L M 17 49 over door.
2 attic lights in gable ends, one blocked.2 framed bays visible at rear,
on west wall. Interior:- C18 staircase with turned balusters and moulded
handrail. Bread oven in rear chimney, projecting from external wall.
