Circa 1844. The garden wall from the Vicarage as far as the archway and
beyond is capped by parapet stones in Perpendicular style, with quadrilobe
patterns, some with shields in centre - from parapet of the parish church
at Church Square). These stones set on 'grotto' walling (Chilcompton rough
stone).
