Houses. Green Corner (to S) is C17. Timber framed, with C19 brick casing to
S gable end and roughcast render to front. Clay tile roof. Uriginal front
block is 2-room plan, of one storey and attics. C19 one and two storeyed
blocks project from rear. Front elevation: 2 5-light casements to ground
floor, 2 hipped dormers with 2-light casements. C20 door to R. Red brick
double ridge stack serving back-to-back hearth. Interior: blackening of some
rafters indicates chimney is later insertion. No. 205 is early C19, of red
brick with clay tile roof. Symmetrical 2-room plan block of 2 storeys, with
lower block projecting from rear. Each floor has 2 sashes with glazing bars
under flat arches. Central doorway with rectangular fanlight and Tuscan
pilasters and cornice. Integral stacks to both gable ends. No. 205 included
for its group value.
