Rose Cottages with
adjoining barn
and byre

House and adjoining barn; late C18/early C19. House pebble-dashed under stone
flagged roof with stone end chimneys. 2 storeys, 3 bays with plank door in
gabled wooden porch to right. Central window has interlaced glazing bars to
semicircular head, left-hand window is C20 casement; 3 sashes with glazing bars
above. All windows in stone surrounds. Barn adjoins to north under same roof:
coursed, squared rubble with quoins. Front has window with interlaced glazing
bars to semicircular head. Segmental head to wagon door in end wall; single
unglazed opening above with dovecote openings in gable. Adjoining lower byre
range is set back; of similar construction. Adjoining house to south end of
Rose Cottages not included.
