Entrance lodge, dated 1864 over door. Rough-dressed, coursed rubble with quoins
on chamfered plinth. Graduated slate roof with stone copings, kneelers, and
finials to gables. 2 storeys, 3 bays, built at right-angles to road. Central
gabled porch has part-glazed door in surround with 4-centred head. Window to
each side and 1st floor right. South return has 2-storey bay window. All
windows sashes without glazing bars, in chamfered surrounds. Coursed rubble
wall adjoins south-west corner; c7 ft high with moulded coping. Gate piers
square in plan, c10 ft high, with moulded plinth and corniced cap. Cast-iron
gates have cusped quatrefoils to lower sections and fleurs-de-lis to top rail.
