House, reputed to be a watch-house, late C16 or early C17 and reputed to date from
1583. Colourwashed rubble with jettied upper storey which is platered probably over
timber frame and with stone rubble flank walls corbelled out and with remains of
moulded timber bressumer. Slate roof, hipped at front and gabled at rear. Brick
chimney stack over right-hand side wall. 2 storeys and basement single bay house.
Ground floor doorway to left. Steps up to stone rubble porch with lean-to slate
roof. C20 glazed front and pointed head lookout window to sea on side wall. 3
light basement window with chamfered jambs. C20 bay window to ground floor and C20
2-light casement on 1st floor.
Single storey addition on right-hand side, colourwashed stone rubble with asbestos
slate hipped roof.
