TL 15SW GREAT BARFORD ADDINGTON ROAD

House. Mid C19. Yellow gault brick with colour washed stuccoed front. Slate
roof. L-plan with additions, 2 storeys. Front: symmetrical facade with
projecting central bay, 2 side bays framed with Tuscan plasters, moulded
cornice surmounted by balustraded parapet. 2:1:2 sash windows, all on small
consoles, those to ground floor outer bays and first floor central bay with
moulded cornices and shouldered architraves, those to first floor outer bays
with moulded architraves only. Central front entrance with Tuscan pilasters,
moulded cornice, and double door, part glazed with moulded lower panels and
rectangular fanlight. Paired octagonal stacks to both gable ends. Single
storeyed flat roofed block to S with pilaster to corner. Rear block has
sashes with glazing bars under rendered flat arches, triple octagonal ridge
stack.
