House. Dated 1839, with some C20 alterations. Slatestone rubble with granite quoins
and dressings. Hipped slate roof with ridge tiles. Axial stack with rendered shaft.
Plan: 2-room plan, each room heated from back-to-back fireplaces served by the axial
stack. There is a single storey outshut at each side; to the right this is a porch
and to the left a scullery/kitchen with an oven.
Exterior: 2 storeys, symmetrical 2-window front; at ground and first floor to right
and left a C19 16-pane sash with flat stone arch and keystone. Central datestone.
At the right end the single storey lean-to has a 9-pane sash at the front, and paired
C20 16-pane sashes and C20 door at the right side. At the left end the single storey
lean-to has C20 16-pane sash to front, with C20 16-pane sash at the left side and
oven projection. At the rear there are two C20 windows at staggered levels; C20 door
to right.
