NY 23 NE CALDBECK Greenrigg

adjoining barn

Farmhouse and barn. Dated and inscribed over barn entrance. J.A.S. 1694 (?)
with alterations and additions dated over rear entrance to house J.S.S. 1732.
Pebble-dashed house front over limestone rubble walls. Welsh slate roof with
C20 brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with barn to right under common
roof. Plank door in bolection architrave under pulvinated frieze and cornice.
Sash windows with glazing bars in painted chamfered stone surrounds. Barn has
rear entrance with dated lintel. Remains of 2-light stone-mullioned window to
right.
