House. Early - mid C19 with some C20 alterations. Slatestone rubble with brick
dressings and granite quoins. Half-hipped asbestos slate roof with ridge tiles.
Stack to left and right with brick shafts.
Plan: Double depth plan with central entrance and principal room to front right and
left, each room heated from an end stack. There are service rooms to rear, a kitchen
to rear left and smaller unheated room to rear right, with the stair hall between.
Exterior: 2 storeys, a symmetrical 3-window front. All windows are C19 12-pane
sashes with cambered brick arches. Central C20 half-glazed door with overlight and
cambered brick arch. The left end is blind. The right end has C19 2-light 3-pane
casement at ground floor to right with cambered brick arch. At the rear there are
three C19 12-pane sashes with cambered brick arches at first floor and one to right
and left at ground floor. Central plank door with glazed panel and cambered brick
arch.
Interior: Not inspected, but may retain good plain features of the C19.
